3D printed display frame in PA12 made in Multi Jet Fusion.
The model replicates an already existing product but previously made by plastic injection molding, a technology not suitable for small batches.
The update of the components also required the revision of the shape and visual area of the display. The internal elements for fixing the new electronic board have also been modified and updated, interventions which would have required the construction of a new mold with considerable economic investments.
The frame was then finished with a textured matt black finish.
Recommended manufacturing method for accurate aesthetic needs similar to objects obtained from the mould, with recommended average lots of 25-50-100 pieces.
